Genelia D'Souza is an Indian film actress, host and model. She has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. Genelia has acted first in the Parker Pen commercial along with the Big B amithab Bachan. Genelia made her debut in Tujhe Meri Kasam, a Hindi movie in 2003, but the film was not a success, so it stopped her career in Bollywood, but she got the opportunity in the Tamil film Boys in the same year. She started acted in Telugu films during 2003 to 2005, she earned recognition in Telugu industry.

Genelia received her first Telugu Filmfare Award for best Actress in the year 2006 for Bommarillu, a romantic film, in which she did a critical characterization, Genelia made her debut in Kannada with Satya In Love in 2007, then she went back to Bollywood, the Hindi film Industry in 2008 and she then got appreciation for her performance in the film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Genelia also hosts Big Switch a television show and she is the brand ambassador of Fanta, Perk and Virgin Mobile in India.
