Karthika Menon is an Indian actress who acts in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films. Bhavana made her debut in Nammal, a Kamal's film, which has won her critical acclaim and various honors. She had won two Kerela State Film Awards.

Bhavana has born on 6th June 1986 as Karthika Menon in a Kerela Nair family, Bhavana is the daughter of Pushpa and assistant cinematographer G.Balachandran Menon. Bhavana has a brother named Jayaddev who lives in Vancouver, Canada.

Bhavana debuted in Nammal, a Kamal's film opposite Siddarth, Renuka Menon and Jishnu. The film Nammal was a big success and she got several offers in Malayalam. She also won the numerous honours and Kerela State Special Jury Awars for the film. Bhavana was studying 11th class when she got the break in the films. She has acted with most of the actors in Malayalam like Suresh Gopi, Mohanlal, Jayaram, Mammooty and Dileep. She debuted in Tamil with Chithiram Pesuthadi with the Malayali actor Narain, which was a great success. After this great success and She also won her first Filmfare award for her outstanding performance in this movie. she got many offers in Tamil and she is doing many projects with the leading Tamil actors like Ajith Kumar, Srikanth, Bharath, Jayam Ravi and Madhavan.
